Sunday

There are normally two services every Sunday in our parish.

St Luke’s Church, 11am

The congregation at St. Luke’s meets in St. Luke’s Primary School, Park Street South (WV2 3AE) at 11am every Sunday morning.

In our services we aim to cater for people of all ages and stages of Christian faith and understanding. We also welcome anyone who just wants to find out more about Christianity.

We sing a mixture of traditional and modern hymns/songs, listen to a sermon which is usually part of series on a particular book of the Bible, and pray for people in the church and the world. Once a month we share in the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) together.

We believe it is good for children to worship with their parents and other church members, so our Sunday School groups (for children aged 4-14) meet on alternate Sundays during term time.

Over refreshments served afterwards you’ll be able to meet other people and find out more about church life.

Pond Lane Mission, 10am

A small congregation meets at 10am in our church building on Pond Lane (WV2 1HG). The service is usually based on the Book of Common Prayer, with Holy Communion once a month (normally on the 3rd Sunday of the month).
